Rotary Club of Tamworth Christmas Sleigh Appeal 2022
We are thrilled you have landed on this page to register your interest for helping us with our 2022 Sleigh Appeal.
This project is a major fundraiser for our club and one we take very seriously as it is a huge event to plan. Based on this we need the full cooperation and support of the teams who work with us.
Please complete the following questions and provide as much information as possible. It is very Important that you ensure you share all social links on here and complete all of the information requested. Not supplying this at this point may lead to you not being selected. As I am sure you are aware, the logistics of planning and organising the sleigh are huge so we are trying to get all information in one go.

THE DAY TEAM REQUIREMENTS:
You will need 2 – 4 people at all times during the day (Most days are 9am – 5pm) PLUS Someone to be Santa if possible. This can be the same people or many that take it in shifts.
We will provide the Sleigh, Music, Tabards and Buckets.
THE NIGHT TEAM REQUIREMENTS:
Your team will need to consist of 16-20 adults. You must also have a reserve list of 2 people if you have people pull out on the day.
The people on your team must be available for the whole of the evening, 5.30pm – 9 pm. Having people come whilst we are on route will also not be acceptable, it causes additional work for the team of Rotarians managing the sleigh and can slow us down.
All collectors must be 14 or older. Any that are aged 17 or under will need to walk with someone over the age of 18.
Children below the age of 14 are no longer permitted to walk with collectors. This is due to people having to leave with younger children who very understandably get tired and need to stop.
Ability to walk 6-9 miles on the evening you are offered.

Please note Applications must be received by September 30th 2022. Applications submitted later than this will not be considered for the 2022 appeal.
